Alpog Wallrusher is a diplomat in the service of the Kingdom of Maghargma, and a liaison for the Order of Chroniclers. He was born in the Maghargman embassy to Grombar to a family with a long history of diplomatic service, and would go on to follow in the footsteps of his ancestors, joining the diplomatic corps himself at a young age. As his work took him between the various embassies of Cannor, the near total lack of Cannorian understanding of Ogrish history and culture would be a point of frequent surprise to him. After one occasion where a high-ranking official made a reference to “the Ogre Mountains[1],” Alpog made up his mind to write a history of Maghargma for international publication.
When his work was finally done, titled The Lord of All Ogres: A History of the Kingdom of Maghargma Vol. I, Alpog would submit the manuscript to the Order of Chroniclers as the centerpiece of his application to the Order. The bid was successful, and he was quickly inducted into their ranks. He would retain his position within the Maghargman diplomatic service, allowing him to utilize his government connections for the benefit of the Order, and vice versa in his role as liaison. His work has most importantly provided the chroniclers with access to well-preserved giant ruins in Maghargma and Grombar, and has kept an open line of communications between the Order and the oft-reclusive state of Azjakuma. As one of the few ogrish members of the Order of Chroniclers, Alpog frequently serves as a translator between common and ogrish.
As a researcher and publisher, Alpog focuses primarily on making Ogrish history accessible to the masses. As a patriotic Maghargman and observant Iskerag Vulshorite, he also has a vested interest in unlocking the ancient secrets of true giant history and culture. As a further extension of his religious beliefs, he also has a great interest in recording (and trying all possible combinations of) global cuisine.

- Lords of the Elements: A collection of essays from various authors offering a range of theories on the history of the true giants, and the origins of the giantkin.
- Iskerag Vulshor Through the Ages: A history of the development, reform, and modern practice of the Iskerag Vulshor religion.
- The Ur-Feast: Originally intended to be the last 4 chapters of Iskerag Vulshor Through the Ages, the section was eventually split off and expanded into its own book; it traces the connections, particularly regarding the properties of the soul, between Iskerag Vulshor, the Lefthand Path, and Jartal Agefa in an attempt to discern the religion of the true giants.
- ↑ Many early cartographers were too afraid of Ogres to properly survey their territory, so many early maps stopped at the eastern ridge of the Ogre Valley, filling in the rest of the territory as part of the Serpentspine Mountains, leading to the common misconception that the Fathides were a mountain-dwelling culture.
