The Angel of Steelhyl was a mythical figure that allegedly led the local Escanni tribes to what is now Steelhyl. It is said that the being was a winged man covered in flames, who led and taught the people how to create steel. By the time the Castanites came, the local peoples were already known as masters of the craft, and they quickly joined the burgeoning Castanorian Empire.
This instance was one of the first recorded instances of celestials in Castanorian texts.
