Bagamdara "Elk Wearer" was a troll druid living in Digoveda in Eastern Gerudia. Though a lonesome and private figure like most of her people, she is remembered internationally as a favorite figure in Field Chronicler Ux Limptooth's Ðigoveða and the Forests of Hyrrt. Bagamdara provided her recounting of Ux's visit in a story spoken nearly a decade after the fact.
Early Life[]
Outside of Digoveda and the taciturn Druid Circles, not much is known about Bagamdara's early life. It is believed she was born the second eldest of twelve communal children. Her biological father, a druid for a minor cavern ward, served as protector and partner to the Den Mother, teaching the litter various druidic skills and histories. Like her father, she exhibited an affinity for magic from a young age, and at some point in her childhood, she tore her older brother's and younger sister's arms off in bestial fury for stealing her favorite fishing spear. By adulthood, she walked the Circle's Trail and was assigned to a ward in the Forests of Hyrrt: a tributary for the Lakdalr.
Field Chronicler Ux's Visitation[]
During the early spring of 1738, Field Chronicler Ux interviewed Bagamdara at her riverside ward. Bagamdara first attempted to redirect the Chronicler to other locals, but after returning to pester her multiple times, the Druid acquiesced to her questionds. Initially hoping for Ux to leave swiftly, the two ended up conversing in great detail about life, the troll's and giant's checkered history, Digoveda's founding, and many other subjects. Through their talk, Bagamdara overcame her reflexive introversion, and despite only meeting for a day, the two formed a lasting friendship that persisted in both memory and word.
Later Life[]
Bagamdara vanishes from written records after Ux's visit, but Circle traditions recount her loves and laments of that day, her dedication to maintaining the Isleid, and how her heart warmed ever so slightly to all travelers.
