The Castanorian Legions formed the core of the armies of Castanor. Unparalleled in its time as an organized and well-trained military force, the legions allowed Castanor to spread its control across much of Cannor and even parts of Bulwar and the Salahad. For much of Castanor's history, serving in its legions was rewarded with plots of land available for farming across Castanor's ever growing territories. Service in the legions as also seen as a compulsory rite of passage for anyone seeking a role within the empire's government.
