Common (also known as Cannorian Tongue) is a global trade language spoken by most civilized inhabitants of the world. The language originated from a creole of Old Castanorian, the language of the ancient human empire of Castanor, and Old Damerian, the language of the Damerian Republic of old. It first appeared in the lands of the East Dameshead and Esmaria, and it spread like wildfire.
Under the Damerian Republic and the elf Jaher's Phoenix Empire it spread to Sarhal and Haless as a trade tongue.
