The Dalr is a region located on the subcontinent of Gerudia, famous for being the former home of the kingdom of Bjarnrik. In its early history, the Dalr was not very different from Olavslund, except for the large number of trolls that inhabited the far north of the region. However, everything changed with the arrival of the legendary reaver Bera, who unified the region under a single kingdom, the kingdom of Bjarnrik. Currently the region is under the rule of the Northern League, which conquered it after defeating the kingdom of Bjarnrik.

Geography[]

The geography of Dalr is a little more diverse than in other parts of Gerudia. The north of the country is composed of the Dalrfjall area, a mountainous area, extremely rich in mineral and gem resources. The Dalr Valley, which makes up the center of the region, has some of the few areas of fertile soil in the Northern Gerudia, which are efficiently used to feed the local population. The east is called the Sidaetti forests, which border Far Gerudia and is home to one of the few cities found in the North, Silfrhof. In the south, the Dalr coast serves as home to much of the Dalr population, as well as being where the largest cities are concentrated, such as Konungrhavn and Revrhavn, the largest cities in northern Gerudia.

Peoples[]

The vast majority of the Dalr's population is human, although there are considerable dwarven minorities in the mining town of Sarbann and in various mining sites in the north of the region. Gnomes are also present in the Dalr, especially on the island of Knarhatt and in the cities of Konungrhavn and Revrhavn. The trolls are a fairly important minority in the Dalrfjall area, still inhabiting the ancestral city of Murtrhol, they serve as foremen of the Northern League prisoner labour force, to observe and monitor the workforce that mine the mountains in search of minerals and gems.

Religions[]

Religion in the Dalr is quite homogeneous. As Gerudian humans are the majority, the Skaldhyrric faith is the majority religion. Although there are also minority faiths, such as the religion of the Mountain Watchers, followed by the few existing trolls in Dalrfjall. A religion that is gradually gaining followers in the urbanized areas of the Dalr is Ravelianism, which was brought to the north by the Northern League. It has gained more and more followers as its followers have helped to develop the region and improve the living conditions of its inhabitants.
