Elizar the Blooded (also known as Elizarian Jaherzuir) was the son of Jaher, founder and Emperor of the Phoenix Empire. While older than his half-sister, Jexis (who would later become Empress), Elizar was seen as an unfit contender for the throne due to his infamous wroth and mental instability. Instead, Elizar found his place in history as a general under Jexis' Empire and later as one of the many warlords in the Jexisian Civil War. Elizar would gain the moniker "the Blooded" under Jexis' rule, who unlike her father and sibling, allowed him relative freedom in dealing with his foes. The resulting carnage would often leave Elizar's mask coated in blood from battle.
