The Elven Forebears is a folkloric tradition/religion within the Moon Elf culture that arose during their time in The Great Wander when the surviving elves believed they had been abandoned by their gods. Followers of this faith believed that each elf can attune themselves to a specific item - which would then become an heirloom for their descendants - these heirlooms would be revered and allowed the descendant to receive guidance and protection from their ancestors.
