Godryc Gerwick was lord of Gerwick before and during the Castanorian Invasion of Gawed, at the beginning of the War of the Sorcerer-King.
With the Kingdom defeated he would be part of that faction of loyalists gawedi nobles who will rebel against Castanor and the Vertesk Dominion during the Derwing Rebellion. The rebellion however would end badly (it being secretly allowed to happen by Castanor itself to bait dissidents) and he will find death with the subsequent executions.
