The Grand Republic of Bhuvauri was a country in Haless that occupied the mouth of the Kharunyana. It was founded by revolting slave-soldiers fighting against the Harimraj. It was known as a country ruled by slaves who owned slaves.

The Bhuvauri gained independence from the Harimraj in the 1357 in what is known as the Bhuvauri Revolt. In 1503, the Bhuvauri invaded Rabaghekhur in conjunction with Tugjal.

Economy[]
Through its control of the mouth of the Kharunyana, the Bhuvauri economy was able to exert a significant degree of control over the movement of goods across Rahen and, to a lesser extent, Haless.
