House Silmuna was once the first and most powerful and prestigious of all the half-elven Silver Families. For much of its existence the family has ruled over the Kingdom of Dameria, and after its integration into the Empire of Anbennar, the Grand Duchy of Dameria.
The Silmuna dynasty nearly fell into ruin during the 15th century, being wiped to near-extinction after the Lilac Wars and losing their ancestral titles. As of the end of the Lilac Wars, only two confirmed members remained: the young Duke of Wesdam, Laurens III Silmuna and the only surviving son of Adénn Skylance, Rogier Silmuna, who came to lead the Sons of Dameria, a group of exiled Damerian veterans fighting for a new home against the Greentide that would eventually form the Kingdom of Rogieria.
