The Marcher Lords was a term referred to the mass migration of veterans and exiles from the Lilac Wars (ended in 1443) that sought to defeat Korgus Dookanson and his Greentide Vanguard, who were quickly approaching Western Cannor. Amongst these Marcher Lords was Corin, who served as a squire under Frederic síl Bennon. Corin would later be revealed as an avatar of the god of war Agrados, and lead the Marcher Lords and the adventurers in Escann to victory over Korgus Dookanson in 1444.
