The Mother's Sorrow, or Sorrow, has been the core of Kheteratan territory since time immemorial. In Khetism, the river is said to have been made from the tears of Elikhet's mother, Nirakhet. The river's exact origin is unknown, but is still a large river by the time it ends on most maps.
