The Order of the Blade Stewards were a monastic order of warriors dedicated to protecting and finding a worthy heir to Calindal, the Gleaming Blade, the ancient blade of the Kingdom of the Blademarches.

Most members of the Blade Stewards are volunteers taken in by the Order, whether it be of unfortunate circumstance or simply a warrior looking for a higher cause. However, a small number of the Blade Stewards are known as Blind Masters, who comprise of individuals who fail the test of the Gleaming Blade.
