The Dalairey Wastes is a region encompassing the southern portion of Dalaire in Eastern Aelantir. The wastes are locked in perpetual ice and permafrost, said to be caused by a magical spell cast by the precursor elves as a punishment to Ducaniel and his followers (who mostly hailed from Dalaire) for their role in the War of Two.
