Moonhaven is one of the largest Elven-populated regions in Cannor. It was, historically, where a large portions of Elves settled following the Landing, and an important nation in Anbennar, due to being the only Elven nation within it. Many Elves in Anbennar viewed themselves as Moonhaveners.
