Sarnagir (Bulwari: Sun’s Herald), also known as the '''Phoenix''', is a mythical bird from [[Bulwar]], famous for her immortality, as she regenerates after dying in a burst of flames. She is considered a symbol of wisdom, royalty and a representative of [[Surael|Surael’s]] authority on [[Halann]], and through history, many rulers had sought their approval.

The origins of Sarnagir are mysterious, and it is unknown if she is native to the material plane, since she is the only known member of her species. She has been shown to be capable of communication, and according to various sources possesses a higher intelligence than humans or elves.

Her nest is located somewhere in the [[Serpentspine Mountains]], but from time to time she flies over the Suran River to [[Republic of Brasan|Brasan]], and then returns to the mountains. When it happens, it is seen by the [[Bulwari]] as a blessing, and festivals are held in her honor.

While reclusive in nature, Sarnagir has influenced several events in Bulwari history and her appearance is seen as a sign of great events being about to occur. In 322, she was seen in [[Eduz-Vacyn]], on the battlefield where [[Barid Szel-Sur|Barid szel-Sur]] defeated the [[Damerian Republic|Damerians]]. In 489 she flew over [[Akalate of Akalšes|Akalšes]] in the day of the coronation of king [[Araš VII]], and according to some sources, she gave him the nickname of White Phoenix, and in 1001, Sarnagir flew to [[Elfrealm of Venáil|Venaíl]] and guided [[Jaher]] to Bulwar, and Jaher later named his empire in her honor.
